On October 10th, 2025, Holistic Families Kenya took a meaningful stride forward with our first-ever Fun Walk for Family Unity. It was a gentle start, a morning filled with laughter, purpose, and a deep sense of togetherness.
A Walk with Intention
The walk began at Sewage Stage in Juja, Kiambu County, at 7:30 a.m., and ended at Zetech University in Ruiru. What started as a small group of team members and friends quickly became a shared experience of joy, reflection, and community spirit. But this wasn’t just a walk. It was a symbolic step toward unity and empowerment, reflecting our belief that lasting change begins with small, intentional actions. Together, we walked to raise awareness about child protection, family empowerment, and community support, the heart of what we do at Holistic Families Kenya. What We Hoped to Achieve Our goal was simple yet profound: Strengthen community bonds through shared experiences.
Create awareness about Holistic Families Kenya’s services and impact.
Build momentum for more inclusive, family-friendly events in the future.
Small Steps, Big Hopes
Though modest in size, the walk reminded us that growth doesn’t need a crowd; it needs courage. Courage to begin, to show up, and to believe that even one act of unity can inspire many more. This pilot event is just the beginning. We look forward to hosting more Fun Walks that bring together families, caregivers, and partners to celebrate wellness, resilience, and hope one step at a time.
