We are organizing a vibrant, family-centered event to celebrate, uplift, and advocate for the rights and wellbeing of children in our communities.
Recognized globally, The International Children's Day on 1st June, is a day dedicated to protecting children and ensuring their safety, reminding us of our collective responsibility to create environments where every child can grow free from harm, neglect, and inequality.
Aligned with this year’s global theme, “For Every Child, Every Right,” the walk is a powerful call to action, affirming that every child deserves equal access to protection, opportunity, and a safe, nurturing environment in which to thrive.
We plan to walk from Juja to Ruiru, not only covering distance, but also taking a collective stand for children’s rights. This journey symbolizes our shared commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind, and that every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Through this event, we aim to:
